Brother Dominic James "el Fuego" Olivas, of the Iota chapter, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2021. Dominic was a graduate of Poudre High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry from CSU in 2007.
After graduation, Dominic enjoyed traveling to different states, seeing new places and having new experiences. He had recently lived in Arizona before settling down in Florida. As a medical radiological technician, Dominic had recently been traveling to hospitals in different states, assisting COVID patients.
Dominic was preceded in death by his older brother, Lawrence Olivas Jr, and his older sister Ana Olivas. He is survived by his parents, sisters; Veronica, Liz, Kathy, Denise, Mary, and brothers Jesse and Chris, as well as many nieces and nephews.
When asked to describe Dominic, people will tell you that he was always the life of the party and that his smile was contagious. The impact Dominic made on others will never be forgotten.
